When we started with this activity, I was a little worried because studying English always has displeased me. The truth I do not know how it happened that, but unfortunately this is I feel. However, I discovered that thanks to this activity, I learned many things, for example to create simple sentences and to express what I think in this language. Also, I could to know much more to my classmates through this blog, I know what were his thoughts, hobbies, tastes, etc. It is a very cute and entertaining way to learn English.
I recommend the use of this platform, it is a very good initiative, educational and motivating. Let the students speak and express what they feel is very good for everyone, helps us to develop you and get to know us. I would recommend to propose new topics, which we can communicate even more!
At the University to speak English is very important and is very sad and damaging to not do so, but those skills are increasing, thanks to this activity and to develop much without realizing, to make this blog was very interesting and entertaining!

One day for celebrate !
Today, I'm talking about of one of the greatest days in my faculty. To Beginnings the academic year, my friends and I participated in the called " First year students welcome". That day, all the students celebrate in the courtyard of the school.
I remember that day because I felt very happy, I met again with my classmates, and friends. We sang, we danced, we drank a little also, etc. This instance allows to the new students to know to other old students. The estudents of the second year make jokes and games very funny, I love this situation !! ..
Is a tradition that the students do this celebration in the school, every year all the classmates organise this little party !
I remember also that on that particular day our teacher of "micro-economics" said : " You can go to celebrate
with the classmates" jaja everybody laughed for this !
I'll show a picture of this day :

Vicente Huidobro "son of the letters"
Vicente Huidobro was an important poet chilean. He was born in Santiago city 10 January 1893. Vicente García-Huidobro belonged to a aristocratic family of the chilean society. The Poet received his first formal education in French institutions. When, he entered to Trinity College and finally to San Ignacio College of the Jesus Company. In 1910 started in the old Instituto Pedagógico at the Universidad de Chile, but he didn't finish his studies.
In Middle of the accelerating globalization social-economics and cultural in those times, Huidobro made a discourse that criticized to the society even when he was part of a family with a lot of privileges. His literary life passed between the urbanization of aristocratic Santiago and París. He had two artistic forms of expression : artistic avant-gardes and revolution through the literature.
In the years 30´s Huidobro developed a relation deeply between the literature and the political engagement, reflected in his work " Non Serviam" . This work was his first "Manifiesto"; here was proposed the called "creationism", It mean a critical to realism.
Their literary production was made of:
- The novels "Mío Cid Campeador" (1929)
- The "Poema Altazor" (1931)

And Others.
The poet received a prize in New York by "The League for Better Motion Pictures", besides he founded the "Acción" Magazine and the newspaper "Purificación Nacional"
Finally the great Vicente Huidobro died in January of 1948 ( 54 years old) together with his third wife, in Cartagena, Chile.
I love this poet because their work is principally a critical to Society and a sample of passion and total delivery.

"Contraloría General de la República" Website
The "Contraloría General de la República" is a Chilean Institution. It is responsible for to monitor compliance of law. All the Administrative acts should be controlled for the "Contraloría General de la República".
All the information about the institution is in the official web page:
http://www.contraloria.cl/NewPortal2/portal2/appmanager/portalCGR/v3ESP?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=P18200239681286226265111
The last semester in Administrative theory, I presented a report about of this publico organization, for this motive my group and me learned how it works , their authorities, and its importance to the state administration.
I recommend this page because we find news, opinions, resolutions and projects being developed in the state administration. Also, the page of "Contraloría General de la República" shows to public their personal and their salaries, compliance with the principle of transparency in administration.
In our area of study must be know about this institution. We must know how it relates to our career, their actions and their contingent news. sometimes want to know the meaning of a technical concept or control procedures carried out by the "CGR" therefore always I use this page.

"A brave woman and dreamy"
Teresa Wilms Montt was a Chilean high class writer, born in the 19th century. Belonged to a wealthy family than educated like a lady, and teach everything needed to be a good wife. But Teresa was always rejected these teachings, as it was always free and creative.
At 17 he married Teresa Gustavo Balmaceda. Her husband never accepted the liberal ideas of Teresa, so the marriage ended.
His literary life formed with the publication of diaries where she confessions with poetry and made known their groundbreaking ideas of feminism and freedom.
Teresa during his life always deeply felt love, she was released from conservatives and expressed their thoughts and passions most intimate feelings. A great writer who made known his work around the world, showing that if the woman can speak her mind and break habits.
Teresa died at age 28, before he wrote in his journal "Die, meaning after all ... he is nothing."
PD: when I was little, I always told my mother I wanted to be like Teresa Wilms Montt!
I love to Teresa !

"The beginning of a beautiful friendship"
I don't have a lot of pictures, therefore I chose a picture that remember me a beautiful day. This picture was taken by my Father Glen, in Frutillar City. This day is very special for me because I met to my Cousin called Paula. She is a teenager 17 years old. My mother always talked to me about of she, but I didn't know her. This picture was taken in the "Llanquihue" lake near of the amphitheatre in 2011, when my family and me traveled to share with my uncle, his wife and his daughter.
I love this picture ! Because since the day that I met to my cousin we never stopped talking. Now, we are the best friends. Every Summer, she travel to my house and we go to visit to our families !
This picture always makes me smile! reminds me of the beginning of a beautiful friendship, as well to remember how important it is for my family.

Holidays in Chiloé Island
In 2011 with my cousins traveled to South of Chile. We met different regions in the road until to reach to Chiloé Island.
We started the trip from Santiago, in early morning. The first city that we met was Chillán,there we had breakfast and we walked the streets. Then we continue as far as Valdivia city. I saw in the road many trees, differents landscapes and colours amazing. We have lunch in the Puerto Montt city, in a town called "Algelmó", we has a beautiful view in a little lake. Then of three hours , we cross the "Canal de Chacao" in middle of a cold rain. In the night we arrived to a town called Caulín, and we slept in a cabin near the sea. The next mourning my cousins and me met the Ancud city, we were all day here until the night. That night we celebrated the "Noche caleuchana". It is a celebration in honor to the day of love. The following days we visited the island, visited the city of Quellón, we buyed crafts and gifts, was a beautiful week!
I keep the best memories of that experience, the people we met, meals, and all the nice landscapes of southern Chile!.

My Favourite technological object
My favorite object technological is "The Tablet". My mom gave it to me one Christmas. I use it every day because it is very useful for to make homework. It's small size allows me to carry it everywhere in my purse. I like because is light, little and pretty.
Life without it should not be difficult because I could use the computer or notebook. I use the tablet to study administrative law, because I can read the different laws and speak with my family and friends, also to use facebook, twitter, to see photos, i can play games, to listen music, to write documents and other things more.
The existence of this object facilitates study and work, as it allows work from anywhere, not only from an office or computer which means a lot more comfort, that makes it a necessary and effective tool.

Now, I course the second year of the career of Public Administration at “Universidad de Chile”, reason why I live in Santiago of Chile, capital of this country.
In my free time I practice Volleyball, a sport that has been present in my life since I was 10 years old. Thanks to this I found my great friends and I shared special moments. For example the participation in communal , regional and national championships. It was there where I obtained sport and sentimental profits that have contributed to my personality
Also, I like very much to enjoy music and poetry.
When I'm tense or I am free I also read poems of great poets and songs by Chilean artists. Another activity that pleases me is to travel; I
