Vicente Huidobro "son of the letters"



           Vicente Huidobro was an important poet chilean. He was born in Santiago city 10 January 1893. Vicente García-Huidobro belonged to a aristocratic family of the chilean society. The Poet received his first formal education in French institutions. When, he entered to Trinity College and finally to San Ignacio College of the Jesus Company. In 1910 started in the old Instituto Pedagógico at the Universidad de Chile, but he didn't finish his studies.

           In Middle of the accelerating globalization social-economics and cultural in those times, Huidobro made a discourse that criticized to the society even when he was part of a family with a lot of privileges. His literary life passed between the urbanization of aristocratic Santiago and París. He had two artistic forms of expression : artistic avant-gardes and revolution through the literature.

        
             In the years 30´s Huidobro  developed a relation deeply between the literature and the political engagement, reflected in his work " Non Serviam" . This work was his first  "Manifiesto"; here was proposed the called "creationism", It mean a critical to realism.

            Their literary production was made of: 
                                    - The novels "Mío Cid Campeador" (1929)
                                    - The "Poema Altazor" (1931)
                                    - "Gilles de Raíz"   (1932)
                                    - "Manifiestos"     (1925)
                                    And Others.

The poet received a prize in New York by "The League for Better Motion Pictures", besides he founded the "Acción"  Magazine and the newspaper "Purificación Nacional"
Finally the great Vicente Huidobro died in January of 1948 ( 54 years old) together with his third wife, in Cartagena, Chile.

I love this poet because their work is principally a critical to Society and a sample of passion and total delivery.

"Contraloría General de la República" Website


         The "Contraloría General de la República" is a Chilean Institution. It is responsible for to monitor compliance of law. All the Administrative acts should be controlled for the "Contraloría General de la República".

        The last semester in Administrative theory, I presented a report about of this publico organization, for this motive my group and me learned how it works , their authorities, and its importance to the state administration.

         I recommend this page because we find  news, opinions, resolutions and projects being developed in the state administration. Also, the page of "Contraloría General de la República" shows to public their personal and their salaries, compliance with the principle of transparency in administration.

In our area of study must be know about this institution. We must know how it relates to our career, their actions and their contingent news. sometimes want to know the meaning of a technical concept or control procedures carried out by the "CGR" therefore always I use this page.

My favorite writer





               When  I was in the School, my mother gave me a book, His name was "Crónica de una muerte anunciada".  This day I thought  :  "This is the better book of the History!"

                  The author of this book is Gabriel García Márquez. He was born in Aracataca (Colombia) in 1928. He studied in San José since 1940 and he concluded in the "Liceo de Zipaquirá" in 1946. He entered the University "Nacional de Cartagena" there studied laws. However never showed his skills to writer.

In 1955 he wrote "La Hojarasca" , in 1961 "El coronel no tiene quién le escriba", in 1962 "La mala hora" and 
"Los funerales de la Mamá grande". In 1967 Gabriel García Marquez wrote the best book of Latin history "Cien años de soledad". With this books the writter founded a  literary movement called "Realismo Mágico" a fantastic way of to mix novels that includes the reality.

                  In 1982 He received the Nobel Prize for Literature. Due to this fact, everyone knows to this great writer. Gabriel Garcia Márquez died 17 April 2014.

       I always read the books my mother gave me.  I love every books that he writed Gabriel García Márquez !!

"A brave woman and dreamy"


          

          Teresa Wilms Montt was a Chilean high class writer, born in the 19th century. Belonged to a wealthy family than educated like a lady, and teach everything needed to be a good wife. But Teresa was always rejected these teachings, as it was always free and creative. 
           At 17 he married Teresa Gustavo Balmaceda. Her husband never accepted the liberal ideas of Teresa, so the marriage ended. 
        
           His literary life formed with the publication of diaries where she confessions with poetry and made ​​known their groundbreaking ideas of  feminism and freedom.
        Teresa during his life always deeply felt love, she was released from conservatives and expressed their thoughts and passions most intimate feelings. A great writer who made ​​known his work around the world, showing that if the woman can speak her mind and break habits.

           Teresa died at age 28, before he wrote in his journal "Die, meaning after all ... he is nothing."

    PD: when I was little, I always told my mother I wanted to be like Teresa Wilms Montt!
